A Day In The Life Of A Student Last updatedThursday, February 25, 2016 Join us for a day in the life of a student. Morning circle is a time of gathering for announcements and prayer. Students have daily classes. Student discussions are common. Teachers engage and interact with students. Students often present their research. Crew time brings classes together for group building. Classes sometimes go on field trips. Outdoor Education Science classes incorporate lab work. Students get “hands on” teaching experiences. Small classes are important. Students practice essay writing. Classes are held outside during beautiful weather. Students learn ICT skills applicable to their studies. Students study in the library. There is time for personal reading. Daily lunch in the dining hall. Our students spend time in the kitchen garden, weeding and cleaning out the garden. After school sports on the lawn. Students help with food prep. Senior students attend a college fair. Students take care of the campus grounds. Students practice music. Students practice traditional Rwandan dance. A student takes time out to get a haircut from a local barber who visits our campus. Many students live on campus as boarding students.
