The Girls’ Faith Encounter is a life-changing encounter of eight girls from the United States and eight girls from Rwanda. The girls from the United States will have the opportunity to see how a developing country is coping with environmental challenges, visit with environmental change-makes, go on safari, engage with local community members over a traditional meal, learn about Rwanda’s history of genocide and explore what mission means. Together, the girls will explore issues of faith, environment, and community development.
